Frode Hagen is employed as an instructor at RailAcademy. Frode is a trained locomotive driver from 2006, and he has a background in the Armed Forces, sales and as a general manager. Frode has over 15 years' experience as a locomotive driver from Flytoget. There he has also worked as a driving instructor, instructor and super user on the type 78.
From 2009-2020, he worked as a contracted instructor at what is today the Norwegian vocational school for locomotive drivers. From 2020, he worked full-time as a teacher at the locomotive driver training course, until he joined the RailAcademy
Frode has worked mostly with vehicle teaching, including mechanical construction, compressed air systems, brakes and compressed air schematics, but he has also worked with shifting and simulator training. In addition, he has also been involved in the follow-up of driving instructors, development of learning materials, courses etc.
