Rolf Bergstrand is working chairman of Railsupport AS. Bergstrand has extensive experience in Norwegian transport. He is trained as a lawyer and civil economist and was director of finance at NSB from 1985 to 1988. He was then director of passenger traffic at NSB from 1988 to 1995. Here he led extensive work on building up the passenger traffic division, modernization and conversion to a customer focus.
From 1995 to 2003, he was division director for the trams in Oslo Sporveier. For parts of the period, he was also responsible for the subway and the infrastructure unit in the company.
From 2003 to 2006 he was safety director at Sporveien and then he was director of operations and technology at Sporveien trikken AS and project manager for a number of material and infrastructure projects at Sporveien trikken AS.
From 2016 to 2018, he was chairman of Norske tog. He took up the role of working chairman of Railsupport from the summer of 2018.
