RAMS adviser / Senior adviser

We are experiencing a high demand for our services, within several of our fields of expertise, due to which we need more qualified colleagues to work on our exciting assignments. Right now, we are prioritizing expanding our focus on risk and safety and will strengthen our expertise and capacity within RAMS.

About the position:

RAMS adviser / Senior adviser
Within the public transport area, especially in the Oslo region, there are several major initiatives underway and this requires resources with the right expertise. Due to this, we are now expanding our focus within two sub-areas for RAMS, partly towards vehicle permits and safety management, and partly towards infrastructure and digital signalling systems, CBTC and ERTMS. We are looking for two skilled resources who will strengthen our expertise and capacity and who are passionate about helping to establish future-oriented transport solutions. Good experience from RAMS and permit work, within railway, tram or metro operations, is desirable.

It is desirable that you have:

  • Education from a university/college within RAMS or other relevant fields, such as electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Good expertise and experience from RAMS work
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations within the railway sector, such as the Railway Act, the Intermodal Transport Regulations and the Requirements Regulations
  • Interest in following regulations within the railway sector
  • Interest in assisting in investigations and analyses
  • Experience with CBTC technology, ERTMS and/or metro/railway related signaling projects
  • Expertise in Cyber Security in a RAMS context, i.e. how IT-based threats can affect train safety and operations

Personal characteristics:

  • You are strongly motivated to work with future-oriented track solutions and thrive both in teamwork and working independently
  • You must enjoy working systematically and accurately with RAMS and approval work, both within vehicles and infrastructure
  • Personal suitability will be given great importance in the assessment, among other things we value being flexible and solution-oriented as well as thinking holistically and seeing connections.
  • In addition, it is important to have a good understanding of the industry and make decisions with both customers and profitability in mind.
  • Good written and oral presentation skills in Norwegian are absolutely necessary, as the position involves a lot of communication with customers
