Håkan Forsberg is employed as general manager of Railsupport.
Håkan holds a degree in civil engineering from Luleå University of Technology and has broad management experience from the railway sector, with particular focus on early-phase studies and complex transportation projects.
He comes from the role of Business Area Manager Railways in Rejlers AS, and has previously been section manager Transport in Advansia AS and assistant department manager Transport in HR Prosjekt AS.
Throughout his career, Håkan has led a number of railway projects in Norway, including planning within InterCity on the Dovre Line, capacity measures on the Main Line, development of freight and timber terminals and several crossing track projects – while employed by Bane NOR. He also has experience from leadership and advisory roles in Sweco AS, Tyrens AB, Vectura AB and previously Banverket in Sweden.
At Advansia, Håkan, in addition to management responsibilities, also had overall project responsibility for deliveries to, among others, Bane NOR and Sporveien in the municipality of Oslo.
With solid insight into both the Norwegian and Swedish railway markets, combined with a strong understanding of the entire value chain within railway planning and development, Håkan brings valuable strategic expertise to Railsupport.
