Discontinuation of RailAcademy's train driver training 

Railsupport AS established RailAcademy in 2020, and was approved as a training center for locomotive drivers. The volume of assignments was good, but in recent years we have seen that the volume of assignments related to training locomotive drivers has been significantly reduced. There are several reasons for this, but the consequence has been poor profitability for the training business.  

The board of Railsupport AS has, based on this, decided not to apply to renew our permit to be a training center for locomotive drivers. The current permit expires in October. This means that locomotive driver training will end from 1 October 2025. We will of course complete the assignments that have already been agreed, but we will not be able to take on new assignments from today. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause for our customers.
